WHY DO I CARE SO MUCH ABOUT DESIGN?

My fellow friends noticed how I changed quite dramatically for the past few months: I started to take online courses, read books, notice little small details that nobody seems to care about, try to convince people around me why specific design elements of different products are good/bad, scream every now and then when my mind finds great business opportunities due to the poor design decisions and the lack of human centered approach.

One day my friend asked: Why do you care so much about design?

I realised that I could not give this simple question justice. In fact, if you ask me everything that I learnt about design, user centricity, business models and agile/lean startup methodologies, I can talk for hours. I finally found out why I care about it so much. I finally found out why I started having the blur line between work and after work time. I finally found out why I am willing to pay money and put extra effort to learn new things not because it is part of my job or because I need to pass my exams. I finally found out why it bugs me to see the projects, products and companies fail.

The whole deep reason for that is because I found my vision.

Vision is the core reason why you wake up every morning, why you even bother breathing and why you do what you do. Until you find your vision, a day will be just another day. After your discovery, you will feel how everything starts to make sense. How more purposeful is every activity you take as it serves one common vision. Every person has their inner child dream, and that dream is your vision.

that child is you

My vision is simple.

I have the vision to create the products and services that customers want.

I would dedicate this blog to share my learnings in areas such as Design, User Centricity and different methodologies of minimising the risks of failure early and cheaply.

Note: I am not an expert in any of these fields. I am a pure enthusiast who reads, learns and tries to practice these things every day. You can give me suggestions for specific topics if you have any below!
